Dark Remedies is a woman-owned small business dedicated to encouraging others to embrace their dark side through books, music, and self-care!

We handmake self-care products such as soaps, body butters, and candles that are inspired by books and metalcore bands.  Metalcore is a genre that we absolutely love and has helped us get through some dark times.  We want to honor those bands and introduce the music they make in hopes that they can help you too!

Reading is self-care and our book box features stories that have dark themes.  Why dark themes? Because they can help us heal from our traumas and cope with our struggles.  Dark stories bring up issues that we may not want to face but are necessary in order to heal.

We feature all authors that write dark books and enjoy shedding light on authors in the BIPOC community, as well as stories written by non-binary and genderqueer folk.  Adding diversity and sharing our stories can help us understand each other, understand humanity, and create a sense of unity.

In order to live in your light, you've got to find yourself in the dark, and we can help you do just that!
